Limax Magnodentis

Testo del progetto in inglese

Limax magnodentis is a carnivorous slug that can reach the size of a medium-sized dog.

Under a flexible, armored mantle it secretes an anesthetic slime that acts locally, leaving the prey unaware of the attack. Extremely silent, it hunts mostly at night, taking advantage of its prey’s sleep: it latches onto the flesh with powerful jaws and tears off large portions, while the slime keeps the wound numb.

The project follows the creature from the sculpt to the final renders and two short animated sequences.
