A creature made of three fully autonomous organisms that merge for reproduction.

The idea comes from the anglerfish: the male is far smaller than the female and, once he finds her, bites into her belly and releases an enzyme that dissolves the surrounding skin. Their circulatory systems fuse, and he becomes a permanent appendage dedicated to reproduction.

Designed for SYMBIOSIS, the multi-sensory VR performance by Polymorf, for which I led the 3D design of creatures, characters and environments. The creature was also published in issue 288 of 3D World magazine.
